My Musical Journey
Along to the studio
I'm happy staying musically tuned and in 2016 I got the opportunity for a professional recording. I immediately took my guitar and all my notes of tunes and lyrics, brought together existing and new ideas and went into the studio. The final result was a record based on sensitive songs, each of them like an artful ballad, but every song a catchy record to sing along.
For me it was important and I'm proud to have everything handmade including a peaceful self-made CD cover. But one important thing was missing: “my artist name”. A name who lives up to the songs and characterize them: “Yvaine”
"Wo bist du?" - My first record
Dear listeners,
My first music album was created during my second pregnancy, which was marked up by “ups and downs”. Music was helpful to survive these roller coaster times. I started to write songs to process my emotions. Doing so I could give my emotions a brand and an own style of expression. Different interpersonal relationships and conflicts are part of my songs. Alternative ways and approaches are presented to leave old paths to turn more easily into new live sections.
However, there are no limits to listener’s imagination therefore both adults and children will be caught by the calm and sensitive melodies. The first song on this record I pay tribute to a person I never saw again from today to tomorrow.
During creation of my songs I gained a draw strength and calmness. I hope I can hand over all of this to those who can step back, relax and get inspired.

Press Release
A few months after my studio journey I got a call from Axel Häsler. He asked me to make an interview for the Hanau Anzeiger (local press). I was glad to get the call and agreed soon.
The press report is shown above (only in German). The Hanauer Anzeiger approved that I'm allowed to show the release on my homepage.
